A NOTE FROM FR GAVIN

We are experiencing difficult and uncertain times and our normal way of life has been temporarily change, hopefully only for a short while. This has
also impacted on our Worship and Spiritual Life, we are now coming up to our 2nd week without the Holy Eucharist and I am sure that many are dearly missing this weekly/daily encounter with Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist.

Although the Churches are closed, we still have the opportunity to connect with the Livestream Masses and receive Our Lord spiritually. I hope that many are taking up this opportunity because firstly it helps us continue with the pattern of our Christian Way of Life, but also as we gather for prayer and worship, even though remotely, it means that the Body of the Church has gathered in numbers and that our prayer & worship becomes so much more greater in the Hands Of God, particularly at this time of the Covid-19 virus. Our prayers are invaluable for our family, relatives and friends, work-colleagues, doctors and nurses and all those helping to keep this virus under control and also to completely remove it from our nation and our world.

Also, I hope that those who have isolated themselves are getting the help they need from family or friends but please be aware that we have help available if there is a need, so far there has been no call for help so I can only assume that all is going well.

Keeping you all in my prayer & daily mass

God Bless, Fr Gavin.
